A term paper is a detailed study paper written by students on an academic term, usually accounting for at least a significant part of a last grade. Merriam Webster defines it as”a composition of less than a hundred words that tries to express an opinion, opinion, or recommendation about a particular matter”. Term papers are written with reference to a specific topic or area of research. It follows a particular pattern and is usually organized around one central subject – the author’s central idea(s) or discipline of research.
The structure of this paper consists of the introduction, the main body and the conclusion. The introduction is the part that sets the context of the paper and gives the reader an overview of what the paper is about. The main body covers the several ideas and arguments which the newspaper presents and reasons for their presentation. The conclusion provides the reader the important takeaways from the newspaper in terms of how the information was originated and what the consequences are. In some academic papers, the introduction and the conclusion are contained in the body of the text, whereas in others the introduction and the conclusion are separately written within the essay.
The structure of the paper normally follows a logical sequence and can be split into several sections. The first section introduces the topic of the term papers, together with an overview of the paper. The next section consists of the principal ideas and arguments presented within the paper, together with a brief thesis statement. The third section includes 3 components: a description of the methods utilized to analyze the information, the evaluation of the results and methods, and the conclusion.
